Functional Exercise

There has been a growing curiosity in recent times in a not-so-new concept in resistance training called Functional Training (FT). FT is a type of strength training that stimulates improvement in the bodies’ functional ability involving specific movements in sports or activities of daily living (ADLs). For many years, coaches, physiotherapist and athletes have been exploiting this sport and ADLs specific type of training to reach peak performance.

 ELN has developed two new training concepts that should be considered both the foundation and cornerstone of all muscular training programs  Functional Training and Core Stabilization.


Functional Training Program

 
ELN provides;
  • Personalised ELN Functional Training exercise program specific to sport or ADLs needs.
  • Technique and correctional exercise feedback and advice.
  • Week by week focus on exercises, sets and repetitions.
  • Comprehensive overview on length of recovery.
  • Lead up consultation(s) providing feedback, training options and progressions.

Core Stabilization Program

ELN provides;
  • Personalised ELN Core Stabilization program.
  • Assessment of weak points through technique correction. 
  • Week by week focus on exercises, sets and repetitions.
  • Progression of exercises to opitmize performace.
